Pools were great for kids. Breakfast variety was awesome. Clean rooms.

Very loud music, they don’t seem to have a curfew on people staying up in communal areas, drinking and making a lot of noise in the middle of the night. Very slippery floor around pool, so dangerous saw alot of people fall over.

I loved the theme of the property. They had everything including the pool, views and location. The family rooms are spacious and includes a balcony view. If you ask staff for a room clean or towels, they come almost immediately so you’re not waiting. The staff are friendly and very warm to children. They have free parking for guests and have fruit stalls, ATM and main street shops right next to the resort. It’s a very family friendly resort. It was very easy to hire a car nearby and drive around on the road.

We booked a family room which consisted of a king bed and a bunk bed. The first night we went, there was a piece of glass on the bunk bed which cut my daughters foot. We were concerned as the resort only has wood everywhere so unsure where the glass came from. It took 2 days to speak to a manager but once we managed to speak to the manager, he was empathetic and compensated us with a free late check out to accommodate our flight schedule. The next day i went for a swim and went to grab an ice cream from the bar but had another piece of sharp glass go into my foot and the staff only gave me a piece of napkin to solve the matter. I hadn’t raised this with the manager as didn’t want to wait another 2 days to speak to one. Another thing i would comment on is the lack of English in the resort as it’s very difficult to speak to staff. We had to use google translate for a lot of our conversations but even then they couldn’t understand us. They don’t accept card payments if we want to book taxi, minibus or pay for the minibar. Everything is cash only. The breakfast buffet can be improved as most things are only suited for non-halal eating guests.

The room has a very good size. The swimming pool is very nice and even staying in front of it, it was not noisy in the room. The location is also nice, close to restaurants and the beach. All the staff were very friendly.

It was reasonably clean, but that could be a bit better. Some issues with the shower drain, accumulating some water when showering.

There was alot of mosquitoes inside the room. Cockroach was found inside the room also. My neice was bitten all over the face and legs. The staffs was very friendly to help. The family room corner area found out to have more mosquitoes. The floor was quite dusty too.

Very pleasant stay! The hotel is located in an amazing area, outside the mess of Patong, in Kata area. Super spacious rooms, and the direct access to the pool area is amazing! Even with all the kids and normal pool noise, the rooms are quiet.

A few details of maintenance. The pool slides need intervention, there are some discontinuities that hurt when you slide though them. The room shower/cabinet/ shower door, urgently needs to be cleaned with a good limescale remover. The breakfast/dinner are very limited in variety: maybe some cheese, sweet options, other types of bread, other fruits…

Comfortable environment and great location. 5-10 min walk to the beach. Breakfast selection was quite good. Room was also quite clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Managed to get a room in the ground floor so pool access was great. My 5- year old son loves the kids’ pool!

It is a big resort with large crowd so may not be suitable for people looking out for quiet stay.

The highlight were the water slides. My kids absolutely loved them and they were good fun for the whole family too. Even grandma gave it a go! The location is brilliant - walk outside the hotel to a wide range of restaurants and shops. The room was big and the bunk beds were great for kids. The staff were very helpful

The breakfast was overcrowded and my kids were pushed out of the way by adults every time they attempted to get food. It is like a feeding frenzy. The coffee is dreadful and a coffee machine would make a huge difference. The restaurant next to the pool was terrible - go out of the hotel for food.

Pamokko is a nice hotel in Kata ,ot far from the beach. It is a good choice for families and be ready for kids playing and having fun in the garden with a nice pool slides . Gim is great .
